Job Title: Parts Manager
Location: San Leandro, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $75k to $90k DOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Parts Department team with integrity, teamwork, and a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Develop and maintain efficient parts department processes to ensure accuracy in counter ticketing and lost sales tracking.
• Ensure appropriate parts stocking levels to optimize customer service and company resource utilization.
• Collaborate with other store locations to streamline and maximize parts ordering efficiency across the organization.
• Execute daily department operations to achieve or exceed annual goals and budget targets.
• Create and manage a Parts Department marketing plan; track progress monthly to ensure performance goals are met.
• Conduct and oversee periodic and annual physical inventories of all parts and related stock.
• Process all parts warranty and return claims promptly to secure maximum credit.
• Utilize all available order discount programs to reduce costs and improve margins.
• Monitor customer receivables and ensure team compliance with company accounts receivable and collections policies.
• Maintain department tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe, functional condition.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support dealership objectives.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior leadership experience in a parts department or similar inventory-driven role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of parts inventory systems, warranty processes, and vendor relations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, meet goals, and drive team performance.
• Proficiency with computer systems and experience using dealership or inventory software is a plus.
