EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required Education High School diploma or equivalent Experience 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or hospital and 2 years of leadership experience Licenses and Certifications Valid and active Texas Driver's License Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree

JOB DUTIES

Supervises the day-to-day operations for the distribution center warehouse department including staff, warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, transportation and other tasks essential to the department. Maintains an expert level of knowledge of all aspects related to receiving, storage, handling, and delivery of medical supplies and equipment. Lead and support process improvement initiatives to ensure effective/efficient workflows. Conduct periodic warehouse inventories to ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and traceability. Manages schedule, payroll, time-off request, FMLA and other HR related issues within the department. Build relationships and frequently communicate with customers to address their needs and resolve issues. Train associates on all department vehicles and material handling equipment. Escalate issues to managers and recommends potential solutions. Tracks in-bound and out-bound inventory. Ensure compliance with all OSHA and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
