Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Hutchinson, KS

$903 or more per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Non-CDL Hourly Pay: $21.00 Per Hour
• CDL Hourly Pay: $22.60 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 43 hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday
• Start Time: 7 AM

• Route: Local Home Daily - Yard Position - NO Deliveries
• 9 months Yard Experience Required
• NO Freight - No Touch - Yard Work

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment:
• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard, but cannot drive on public roads
• The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records Other tasks as assigned
