$24.00/hour
General Description
Responsible for providing administrative support for all HR related issues. Ensures organizational effectiveness and efficiency within the human resources department and payroll aspect of the department. This position will have considerable contact within all levels of the organization. Must be proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Three- five years of Human Resources experience required . High School diploma required. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written/verbal) and organization skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities
Assists HR department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees
Forward applications received in HR email
Send out offer letters
Conduct reference checks for new employees
Send out education verifications for new employees and follow up to ensure form is received back
Process DPPC, driving records for Mass & RI and delete terminated employees from Mass RMV website
Conducting required employee background checks to include BCI, CORI, SORI, DCYF, Driving Records (Both Mass and RI) and OIG
Keep recruitment tracking sheet updated
Prepare for and attend job fairs as well as CNA monthly graduations
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/colleges/newspapers, etc.
Conduct weekly orientation and prepare materials
Facilitate monthly Workforce Meetings with Directors/Supervisors
Update Indeed, Paycor, Arc Mass and other job sites as well as the internal posting
Sends out letters to new employees regarding benefits once eligible
Process health, dental, life insurance and AFLAC monthly bills
Coordinate the School to Work Program
Assist with LOA’s as needed
Back up to Payroll
Performs other duties as assigned
