Job Title : Social Media Content Creator 

Location: Carlstadt, New Jersey

Job Type: Full Time, In-Person 

Job Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

 

Role Description: 

We are seeking a passionate and talented photo & video content creator to join our fast-paced marketing team! If you live and breathe social media, love bringing creative ideas to life, and know how to make content that stops the scroll on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, this is your moment. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with trends, thrives on innovation, and knows how to turn a concept into captivating digital content. Our team is made up of energetic, collaborative, and driven individuals and we’re looking for someone who brings that same spark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Captures engaging & impactful photo & video content for social media accounts at the NJ office, NYC showroom and off-site locations. 
  • Creates detailed shot lists before photoshoots with knowledge of current trends and how to apply them to brand specific content.
  • Has experience with photo & video color correction, editing, and digital special effects using various apps (Lightroom, Capcut, Edits, etc.).
  • Must have a finger on the pulse of Internet and meme culture.
  • Be able to format for different social channels (Instagram & Tik Tok).
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions on video and social strategies
  • Manage our social media accounts with scheduling, posting, and community management.
  • Follows the established content calendar to deliver social posts for collection drops, sales, trade shows, etc. 
  • Be point of contact for our influencer gifting program, research and identify influencers and manage their content deliverables.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Has 2-3 years of experience operating social platforms for a brand, including community management and social care.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, capturing actions, and once-in-a lifetime moments on camera.
  • Familiar with best practices for media creation on the different editing software
  • Excellent time management skills & must be comfortable handling multiple edits and revisions with tight turnaround times
  • Community and customer service-oriented mindset when creating content. 
  • Experience with using a feed mockup social media app. (We use Preview, so experience with that would be great!)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with people; ability to help talent feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure precise edits
