Obsidian Solutions group is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join the team!

We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst with demonstrated experience planning, documenting, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer network systems and information. Working with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals with leading-edge technologies.

Specific Responsibilities

• Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with staff.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out.
• Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.
• Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.
• Assist in training staff on new technologies.

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree and 10 years experience
• At least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity.
• At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms.
• Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
• Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
