As a **Security Officer - Media Patrol** in **Milpitas, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive atmosphere by embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Wed02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri02:00 PM - 10:30 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. + Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. + Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to site protocols. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 1 year of security experience is required. + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred. + CPR certification is preferred. + Customer service experience is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
