Job Title: Scheduler

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of extension)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $18-20 per hour on a w2 basis without benefits/No holidays

Job Description

• Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures ; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups.
• Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders, and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.
• Support emergent matters in line with the business units’ processes/procedures ; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
• Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action.

• Technical skills to utilize various systems

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree in Business or related field or/ 2-4 years of experience with scheduling or related work; customer facing; exposure to data and reports. Prefer knowledge of Utility work.
