Your impact:
- Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design and analysis of highway and railroad bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other transportation-related infrastructure.
- Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
- Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.
- Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
- Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.
- Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.
Who you are:
- Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 0 to 3 years of roadway design experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experienced utilizing MicroStation/AutoCAD (preferred)
- Experienced with OpenRoads Designer a plus

Work Environment
