Your impact:
  • Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design and analysis of highway and railroad bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other transportation-related infrastructure.
  • Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
  • Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.
  • Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
  • Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.
  • Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.

Who you are:
  • Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • 0 to 3 years of roadway design experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experienced utilizing MicroStation/AutoCAD (preferred)
  • Experienced with OpenRoads Designer a plus

Work Environment
