Overview

Pivot Energy is seeking a motivated Real Estate Title Analyst to provide support to the title, finance, strategic partnerships, and development departments by conducting title analyses and carrying out internal procedures. We are in an exciting growth phase of our company, as we own and operate more solar projects. This individual will assist in all facets of commercial real estate transactions to support the development of these projects. Key responsibilities include the review of title commitments and surveys, preparation and resolution of objections contained in title and survey comment letters, and preparation of real estate documents such as easements, estoppels, and SNDAs, among others.

Previous experience with a title company, financial institution, or legal service provider will be beneficial, but is not required. We are open to training the right person. The individual must possess a professional manner, be detail-oriented and customer service-oriented, have the ability to work with a large volume of files on a daily basis, and have the ability to interface with landowners, developers, surveyors, title companies, county clerks, and outside counsel.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Update internal and external trackers of title matters
  • Maintain the integrity of the title department files, including templates, reference documents, and other relevant department materials
  • Draft SNDAs, easements, deeds, and other real property-related documents
  • Coordinate and prepare documents for recording and closings
  • Communicate with title companies and clerks, and recorders
  • Support real estate due diligence and title work for Pivots project financing activities
  • Review and provide constructive critiques of third-party partners deliverables


Required Competencies
  • At least one of the following: a relevant Bachelors degree, prior law firm experience, and/or title company experience


  • Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a natural focus on process
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and work as part of a team
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality



Preferred Competencies
  • Familiarity with title examination and curative processes is a plus
  • Experience in the solar industry and community solar is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Smartsheet is a plus


Compensation : The base salary range for this position is $100,000$120,000 per year, with eligibility for a substantial bonus plan or target bonus of 30% of annual salary (prorated in the first year based on start date). Compensation will be based on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
