We are seeking a Project Manager at our Doylestown, PA headquarters ( we are open to a hybrid work-from-home schedule, possibly fully remote) . This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with an interest in project management and technical writing to support the continued growth of Penn E&R's expanding operations in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the fulfillment of Penn E&R customer needs (quality and response time to customer is critical)
  • Understanding technical and compliance issues to meet regulatory obligations for clients
  • Proficiency in Pennsylvania (PA Act 2 report preparation and proposal preparation for a wide range of projects and/or proficiency in New Jersey Experience (New Jersey Site Remediation Program (SRP) report preparation including PA, SI, RI, CEA, RAWP, etc. per NJAC 7:26E for a wide range of projects).
  • Effectively schedule and manage projects, personnel, and subcontractors
  • Effectively manage client communications and budgets
  • Perform detailed analysis and management of data (soil, water, vapor)
  • Coach, mentor, develop and build loyalty with direct reports
  • Support business development activities, nurturing and sustaining client relationships and revenue streams

Qualifications for the position include:

  • B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • P.G. (for PA) or LSRP (for NJ) License a plus
  • 5-10 years of environmental/geologic consulting experience
  • Strong technical report and proposal writing skills
  • Record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated record of diverse project experience in PA and NJ, i.e., Phase 1 and 2, Act 2, NJ SRP, RCRA, Brownfield, Geotechnical / Soils, etc.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulatory programs
  • Ability to design and cost field programs with uncompromising commitment to Health & Safety
