Role description:

The Process Improvement Manager drives a rapid and continuous improvement culture by coaching others, leading improvement teams, identifying improvement opportunities, analyzing data, and helping to drive data-based decision-making. This role's primary responsibility is to improve plant performance.

Responsibilities:

* Coach and lead multi-disciplinary project teams

* Help implement a culture of continuous improvement in the plant

* Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Become the plant expert regarding all relevant data sources and statistical analyses

* Comply with environmental and food safety standards as set forth in plant policies and programs within the departmental responsibilities

Minimum skills / qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field

* Five (5) years of experience using various improvement methods and tools

* Self-motivated and passionate about process improvement

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to motivate and develop others

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Proficient in analytical software (i.e. JMP or Minitab)

Preferred skills / qualifications:

* Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field

* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

* Prior experience with group applications such as SAP and Business Warehouse
