Our Virginia Beach-based practice is undergoing a rebrand and preparing to move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility this winter — and we’re looking for a Practice Manager to help shape the future.

You are...

• Someone with a bachelor's (preferred) and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. 
• A motivated leader—CVPM certification is a plus, but not required—and excited to grow into the designation with the right support.
• An experienced leader with 3–5 years of management experience and a track record of team development and operational success.

• Someone who brings experience in veterinary medicine or a related healthcare field or transferable leadership skills from another industry, with a strong desire to grow within veterinary practice management.

• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and can lead with empathy, confidence, and accountability.

• A clear communicator, confident decision-maker, and strong collaborator who uplifts those around you.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing daily clinic functions and ensuring a safe, efficient, OSHA-compliant, and welcoming environment for pets, clients, and staff.

• Leading budgeting, reporting, business growth, and all budget oversight and management, including financial reporting. 

• Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team. Follow all relevant HR laws. Promote a servant leadership style that fosters trust, accountability, and team well-being.

• Monitoring and managing inventory supply levels, controlling costs, and collaborating with leads to maintain efficient inventory systems.

• Upholding a culture of exceptional service by resolving concerns, supporting communication, addressing concerns promptly, and driving client loyalty.

• Supporting growth through local outreach and smart marketing efforts, including maximizing appointment availability and promoting services.
