The Mortgage Loan Consultant will work side by side with a Loan Manager, the Loan Officer, & the processor .
The Consultant will shadow the Loan Manager learning how to register a new loan and all the steps that go into a preparing a new file to be delivered to the Undewriter

The LC & The LM will provide each other with relief support in the event one is on vacation or out sick.

We are Mortgage Brokers so know how to shop a mortgage loan will be key to this position.

This is a full time long term position with regular pay advancement...

Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Application Support: Assist in collecting, organizing, and preparing necessary documentation from clients to complete loan applications.
• File Management: Manage loan files, ensuring all required documentation is received, complete, and properly organized before submission.
• Customer Communication: You're building Rapport w/ our referral partners & our borrowers, realtors, and other parties involved in the loan process to provide updates and gather additional information as needed.
• Processing Assistance: Work closely with underwriters, processors, and other team members to address any issues or missing information, ensuring a smooth loan process.
• Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding conditions and documentation to prevent delays in the loan approval process.
• Compliance: Ensure all loan applications comply with federal, state, and lender regulations and guidelines.
• Schedule Management: Help loan officers manage their schedule and pipeline to ensure all tasks are prioritized and deadlines are met.
• Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, email management, and document filing.'
• Misc Duties: Learn new products & services, Order appraisals, Order COEs, Help onboard new co-workers, Provide input into how we can tighten up our systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years prefered but it most certainly is NOT required.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel , Outlook).- Emphasis on Excel (again not required but strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with loan processing software (ARIVE) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong Work Ethic - Some days require extra hours to not fall too far behind
  • Ability to complete task w/o being given clear direction
