RN – Med Surg – Float Pool - $20,000 Sign On

The Company: Our Client is an accredited healthcare facility serving the Tallahassee, FL community.

The Position : We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to “float” between several different areas across the nursing spectrum. Our Client is the following compensation and benefits:

• $40 per hour flat rate
• Shift Differential:
  • Weekends: $2 per hour
  • Nights: $$3 per hour

• Sign On Bonus:
  • Nights - $20,000
  • Days - $10,000

Requirements:

• Will ONLY accept med surg experience for this position
• 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) acute care Med-Surg RN (With active FL RN license)
• 3 or more years of experience as an RN with a compact license:
  • FL RN is required to be applied for once hired
• Less than 3 years of RN experience with a compact license:
  • Required to pass the NCLEX in FL prior to consideration
• BSN is preferred
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities:

• Shifts:
  • Days – 7am to 7pm
  • Nights – 7pm to 7am
• This position will float to multiple units within the med surg department – post surgical, orthopedic, oncology, infectious disease, gastro, etc.
• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
