The LPN provides professional nursing care for assigned patients. This nurse works under the direct supervision of an RN to collaborate in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Provides age specific care as appropriate to area assigned. The LPN is responsible for maintaining the standards of practice; complying with established policy and procedure; managing supplies and equipment; and promoting collaboration with medical and other staff. The LPN will participate in supporting the facility's mission statement, achieving customer satisfaction, and identifying system problems as opportunities for improvement. Qualifications include a Vocational / Technical Degree in Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing, 1 year Practical Nursing experience preferred, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Georgia license required, Basic Life Support (BLS) required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLA) preferred. Essential functions include complying with nursing standards, maintaining clinic and hospital policies, collecting and prioritizing patient data, treating patients and families with compassion, developing expected outcomes, documenting information accurately, adhering to attendance guidelines, performing job responsibilities aligned with core values, maintaining current knowledge, attending staff meetings, and demonstrating competency in patient care.
