Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

The Social Worker will develop a program to provide services in connection with CWNYs EmpowHer program. The Social Worker will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team which works closely together to address social, personal, employment, and legal challenges that women in crisis face. The Social Worker will also supervise CWNY interns and volunteers.

Responsibilities

1. Develop a program to provide integrated services such as referrals for housing, wellness, education, and employment programs and resources.
2. Train and supervise volunteers and, if Seminar Training In Field Instruction (SIFI)-certified, act as a field supervisor of volunteers who are assigned to mentor and support CWNY participants.
3. Work with CWNYs partners to maintain a current database of resources.
4. Perform intake assessments of incoming participants.
5. Attend meetings as required.
6. Keep records and progress on participants using CWNY referrals and case management software.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Experience in program development.
2. Experience working with adult clients.
3. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work within a team and motivate and mentor others.
