Description


To provide each student and staff member in the school with highly nutritious meal selections in an atmosphere of cleanliness, positivity, respect, and personal caring.
Works under the supervision of the Kitchen Lead, Operations Supervisor, and the Director and Assistant Director of Andover School Nutrition.

Responsibilities


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Executes the Daily preparation of the menu, following standardized recipes to ensure consistency and safety for our customers. Follow all food safety guidelines such as time and temp controls, Proper storage and sanitation. Maintain production records to ensure food waste is minimal while not compromising the customer experience.
•Uses objective and subjective indicators to evaluate food quality.
•Follows standard operating procedures to ensure safety and sanitation.
•Follows meal pattern requirements in serving student meals.
•Follows standards of safety in preparing, storing, and serving food.
•Maintain personal habits to meet sanitation standards.
•Produce proper amounts of food to ensure student options as well as prevent food waste.
•Accurately Maintain running production records
•Assist kitchen Lead with Monthly Inventory
•Assist Kitchen Lead with upkeep and deep cleaning of Kitchen Equipment.
•Attends job related training classes and workshops Required
•Any other jobs assigned

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear and use hands to operate kitchen equipment. Employee occasionally lifts, and or moves up to 50 pounds.
