Job Description:

The Boxing Class Instructor will lead, instruct, and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercises, strength training, stretching, and the fundamentals of boxing. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive community atmosphere, guiding clients to improve their physical fitness levels, and helping them meet their personal fitness goals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement training programs that are safe, effective, and appropriate for class participants.
2. Teach the art of boxing, fostering a love for the sport while emphasizing safety and technique.
3. Monitor and instruct clients during classes by educating on correct form and alternative moves.
4. Provide energetic, positive encouragement and feedback to all participants.
5. Drive membership sales through positive engagement and rapport with clients.
6. Track attendance, class progress, and keep up-to-date records.
7. Offer modifications and progressive challenges for all levels of participants.

Qualifications:

1. High energy, outgoing, and motivational demeanor.
2. Prior experience in conducting group fitness classes.
3. Experience in sales or customer service.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, afternoons, and nights.
6. Strong understanding of body mechanics.
7. Passionate about fitness and helping others reach their fitness goals.
8. Interest in learning and teaching the art of boxing.

Note: Previous boxing experience is not required; we believe in the potential to learn and grow within our company.
