Cutting Edge Fabrication is a leading metal fabrication company producing medium to large-complex metal weldments for various industries utilizing the following equipment: plasma and oxy-fuel table, 6000-watt laser, up to 750-ton 20-foot break press, sawing, machining, robotic welding, weld positioners, and assembly. The material range would be 11ga up to heavy plate along with structural. Material types are mild steel, alloys, AR steel, manganese, stainless steel, and aluminum. We seek a Fabrication Shop Supervisor who will be hands-on in helping, coaching, and leading the team to meet customer demands successfully.

Main Responsibilities:

The supervisor is responsible for the overall fabrication and welding operations, team management, the quality of work, and productivity.

Requirements

•Welding Fabrication Expertise - possess expert fit-up skills and weld code knowledge - Previous weld fab experience is REQUIRED.

•Leadership - managing all production teams - Previous supervisor experience REQUIRED.

•Problem-Solving - identify problems, develop solutions to correct weld issues, and overcome all production obstacles.

•Detail-Oriented - good math skills and precision in work.

•Effective Planning and Organization - define the needs and priorities of the team and work utilizing Job Boss.

•Excellent Communication - listening, processing, and communicating clearly.

•Integrity - upholds a high standard of fairness and ethics in words and actions.

•Resilience - the ability to work under pressure while keeping calm.

•Analytical Skills - gather and process information to define required production steps effectively.
