Executive Search Consultant - Energy Development
Oscar is hiring a Principal Recruitment Consultant for our Austin office. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of a high-performing desk within the engineering sector. What You'll Do
Run the full 360 recruitment process, from business development to offer stage
Partner closely with engineering and energy clients in Austin and across the U.S.
Offer consultative support on hiring strategies, team structure, and industry insights
Find top talent through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals
Guide candidates throughout the hiring journey, acting as a trusted advisor
Consistently hit revenue targets and build toward leadership opportunities
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 2 years in 360 or full-desk recruitment, ideally in engineering or energy
Strong track record of business development, closing deals, and growing client accounts
Familiarity with hiring across sectors such as:
Renewable Energy, Power Distribution
Nuclear Power, Transmission
Oil and Gas, Utilities, Petrochemicals
Power Generation and Infrastructure
Excellent client management and communication skills
A strategic, consultative approach and strong organizational habits
Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-focused environment
