Position Summary


The Corporate Pilot adjust and apply all risk assessments for flights and conditions. Flies company aircraft, carrying passengers for official work trips.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Flies company aircraft, carrying passengers for official work trips.
• Meets with passengers on business travel.
• Assist in filing the itinerary and flight plans at the airport.
• Check aircraft prior to flights to ensure that the engines, controls, instruments, and other systems are functioning properly.
• Use instrumentation to pilot aircraft when visibility is poor.
• Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers, according to flight plans, regulations, and procedures.
• Monitor engine operation, fuel consumption, and functioning of aircraft systems during flights.
• Consider airport altitudes, outside temperatures, plane weights, and wind speeds and directions to calculate the speed needed to become airborne.
• Assist with safety audits and routine maintenance inspections on aircraft.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Corporate pilot license, professional, with bachelor's degree, 5-7 years related experience. Thorough understanding of flight regulations and procedures . Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Physical Demands


High pressure working environment. Requires long periods of sitting, and lifting up to 50lbs. Must be able to obtain an FAA First Class Medical certification. Vision requirements for 20/20 distant and 20/40 near, both with or without correction. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
