CIS - Cyber and Network Security (AI) Faculty Job Category : Faculty Requisition Number : CISCY003268 Apply now Posted : April 30, 2025 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Description Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Cyber and Network Security Faculty Member who will also serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) , with a focus on its application in cybersecurity and networking. In this dual-role position, the successful candidate will: Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and refine curriculum in AI applications in cybersecurity. Teach undergraduate-level courses in Cyber and Network Security in an engaging, hands-on learning environment. Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies that support student achievement and industry relevance. Responsibilities Teach in five-week terms with small class sizes to support individualized instruction. Bring real-world experience to the classroom in a supportive, student-focused environment. Collaborate with program directors to design, review, and improve curriculum related to AI and cybersecurity. Stay current with trends in AI, networking, and cybersecurity, integrating relevant practices and technologies into instruction. Qualifications Education & Experience Master’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science , Cybersecurity , or a closely related field; or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Ph.D. in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity . Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in cybersecurity, networking, or AI required; 10+ years preferred . Minimum of 2 years of teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred. Certifications (Preferred)

CISSP , CEH , CHFI

A+ , Network+ , CCNA Required: Networking, Windows (client/server), Linux, Cisco routers/switches. Preferred: Mobile and cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, AWS. Skills & Abilities Strong academic and professional background in cybersecurity and AI. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to teach students with diverse learning styles and technical abilities. Strong time management and organizational skills. Passion for student success and a commitment to academic excellence.
