Ceramic Tile Installer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Installer to join our installation team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As a Ceramic Tile Installer, you’ll be responsible for laying tile in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring a high-quality finish every time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
• Prepare installation surfaces by cleaning and leveling
• Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools to fit specific areas
• Apply adhesives or grout and install tiles with precision
• Align and space tiles accurately to ensure a symmetrical and clean layout
• Repair or replace broken or chipped tiles as needed
• Work with a variety of materials including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone
• Follow project blueprints or layout plans provided by designers or supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors
• Additional Tasks as Needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tile installer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of tile installation methods, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations in construction
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to use and understand GPS driving aides.
• Maintain safe work practices and equipment with care and attention to detail.
• Must know basic math and how to read a tape measure.
• Ability to differentiate between colors.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with different tile types (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, etc.)
• Ability to perform detailed work such as mosaics or decorative patterns
• Experience working on both floors and walls, including bathrooms and backsplashes
