Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated truck driver for dry van work and END DUMP trailer experience. Some flat bed work as well. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet, which includes various types of commercial vehicles.

Duties:

• Ability to properly tarp, secure, and dump loads (including flat beds).
• Coordinate with third-party mechanic to perform and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct inspections on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Help maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
• Help warehouse as needed to load and unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment.

Skills:

• Experience with commercial driving, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with operating tankers, roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, and freight transport.
• Ability to drive various types of commercial vehicles safely.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify mechanical problems quickly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in diesel engine repair and maintenance techniques.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
