Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter / Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all phases of residential construction, from rough framing to finish work. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to plan and execute projects.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including but not limited to, framing, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
Perform a variety of remodeling tasks, such as demolition, drywall installation and repair, flooring, and trim work.
Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals to address concerns and provide updates.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter and/or remodeler.
Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
A valid driver's license is required.
Prior experience in residential and/or commercial remodeling is highly desirable.
