Qualifications
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy or similar (Desired)
Licensed by State Board of Psychiatric Examiners
Experience in Parent Education and Behavior Management
Background in Psychology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.
Implement behavior modification techniques to improve communication, social skills, and daily living activities.
Provide direct therapy to clients in home, school, or clinic settings.
Collect data during sessions and adjust interventions as needed.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistency and progress.
Attend team meetings and training sessions.
Role Description
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a key position in writing behavior reduction strategies and plans for our clients, currently children with Autism. They use methods such as reinforcement and conditioning to correct or reduce anti-social behaviors and to encourage positive behaviors. The hours for this full-time position are Mon-Fri, 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
